Melody Worsham

Melody is a Certified Peer Support Specialist working for the Mental Health Association of South Mississippi.  She is also a State-wide Technical Assistance Provider for the Mississippi Department of Mental Health. Melody holds a BAS in Human Services with an emphasis on interpersonal communication and sociology.  She has twenty years of experience teaching adult continuing education and has spent the last decade working as a nonprofit consultant. An avid social researcher, Melody uses her knowledge to help local organizations serve their populations better through networking, partnering, and building community support and advocacy.  She has been a Christian since 1980 and serves in her church as a mental health recovery coach and prayer warrior.
